About vicolo
店名である「Vicolo」は、
イタリア語で路地、小路という意味です。
何度も歩いたイタリア各地の古い町並み。
細く入り組んだ路地を歩きながら
見る景色は心が落ち着き、
静かで穏やかな雰囲気です。
店から一歩外へ出れば
琵琶湖へと抜ける小路があります。
そこを抜けると自然豊かな
琵琶湖が広がります。
五感を大切にしながら心豊かに生きたい
という思いから名付けました。
The name of the shop, “Vicolo” means “alley” or “small street” in Italian.
Old streets in various parts of Italy that he has walked through many times.
The view while walking through the narrow and intricate alleys is calming,
the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful.
One step out of the shop and you will find a small alley leading to Lake Biwa,

We named it after our desire to live a rich life while cherishing the five senses.
